Electromagnetic Response Referring to Wave and Diffusion
Electromagnetic (EM) signal with low-frequency range (blow 10khz) is refer to diffusion (quasi-static assumption) that displacement currents are neglected during data processing in geophysical application. Our simulating with one-dimension model by Horizontal Electric Dipole Field indicated that magnitudes of Hy significantly decrease for displacement current and those of Ex vary with frequency, when conduction currents predominate, magnitudes of Ex increase, and magnitudes of Ex decrease when displace currents become importance. Therefore if magnitude of EM signal is referred as estimating parameter,EM wave propagation in the ground cant be neglected simply.
