Experimental Study of Shallow Seismic Prospecting in Detecting City Karst
Seeing that the urgency and necessity in exploring karst which has a large destruction for the city structure,it had an experimental study for exploring interstratal karst broken zone of a city using shallow seismic reflection method coordinating with the drilling work,and obtained very good detected effect.How to display the advantages of shallow layer seismic exploration with high accuracy,high resolution,amount of information and a visual image reflection for underground rock structure,how to avoid,pressing or reduce vibration noise caused by human activities,and how to overcome the field conditions limit,they always are hot research topics that using shallow seismic exploration in the city interstratal karst.Aimed above questions it carried out a test before field collect process,data handle and interpretation,then it identified the karst location and distribution in the area.Finally it sums up that the shallow seismic reflection method is an effective technology measure to detect the interstratal karst distribution in cities.
