Hydrogeophysical Investigation of an Aquifer Adjacent to an Infiltrating River
We have employed multiple borehole, crosshole, and surface geophysical methods to determine the 3D structure of an important aquifer and map the speed and direction of infiltrating river water flowing through it.Here,we present a 3D structural model of the aquifer that results from jointly inverting crosshole seismic,GPR,and ERT data and a 3D time-lapse resistivity groundwater velocity model derived from a large crosshole ERT data set al.
