Online didactic resources for Medical Physics learning in native language at superior and secondary education level
Introduction: In the last decade,many undergraduate courses in the medical physics area have been created in Brazil,trying to supplement the post-graduation education in this field.Although exist excellent educational materials for MP training available at Internet sites,specific didactic resources in Portuguese are still scarce.The objective of this work is to produce educational resources of Medical Physics available online in order to increase the amount of qualified materials published in native language about this field and to facilitate the access to this issue to interested students and professionals.Materials and Methods: Two blogs have been created in the Internet to share with the readers the produced educational resources,which consists in hypertexts with figures and links,computational simulations,videos,etc..One of them includes posts about X-rays and its interaction with matter,radiography production,biological effects of radiation among other issues,being directed to undergraduation students.The other blog deals with Physics content developed also for high school students,building a link between classroom lessons and MP applications.Results and Discussion: As a result,the work intends to promote and develop this growing multidisciplinary area.For this reason,these resources are directed to the public of high school and undergraduation courses.
