A Multi-level Modal for Terminology Knowledge Organization
Term is a carrier of knowledge, which is also basic language unit to build knowledge organization systems. Based on lexical semantics theories, mapping relationship between terminology and real-world is modeling, and terminology is considered as cognitive projection sign from subject to objective world. Then knowledge represented by terms can be divided into concept knowledge, language knowledge and formalized knowledge, by which build consistent model of domain knowledge representation. Finally, the term knowledge can be employed by XML language in order to formally describe the spirit of knowledge. The framework can be used as the basis of knowledge organization and knowledge calculation.
