Hand gesture interface targets medical applications
Hand gesture provides a natural, intuitive and efficient way of interaction. In this work, we introduced some vision-based hand gesture interfaces that have been implemented successfully in medical applications. System overview is given, including system specifications, architecture and methodology. According to the system flowchart, the major method for hand detection, feature extraction, gesture classification and operation modes are described in brief.
