Significance analysis on influential factors of stress corrosion based on grey relational theory for stainless steels

Stress corrosion cracking is a common and serious failure mode in process industries. Due to the complex influential factors, rational and scientific analysis of the prominent property on influential factors of stress corrosion has important significance. On the basis of analyzing the influential factors of the stress corrosion, the grey relational coefficient of various environmental factors was calculated using the grey relational theory. According to the calculation results, the influence of the factors on stress corrosion sensitivity was analyzed. The result can provide a theoretical basis for us to grasp the occurrence and prevention of stress corrosion cracking.
