The damage test of Q235 steel under the affect of stress and corrosion media

Through acetic acid accelerated corrosion experiments, the corrosion behavior of Q235 steel under stress and without stress was studied in this paper. The results show that serious pitting appeared in the condition full of cetic salt spary , the pitting corrosion situation of the specimens under stress is more serious than the ones without stress, which fully embodies that the stress can accelerate the corrosion in corrosive environment.
