Analysis of the Characteristics of Deng Xiao-pings Thoughts on Administrative Management
As the chief architect of the reform and opening up and the modernization construction, Deng Xiao-ping has established a set of systematic and complete administrative thoughts on the basis of the long-term practice of administrative management. When studying Deng Xiaopings thoughts on administrative management, we can find that its subject, aim and purpose, its system and principles all present three distinct characteristics. First of all, its strong affinity to the people. It includes four main aspects: people are the masters of the country; people are the subject of administrative management; the aim of administrative management is to work for the interests of the people and peoples evaluation is a scale to measure the political performance of administrative management. Secondly, a high degree of scientific nature: scientific ideological foundation, scientific administrative management system and scientific procedures and principles in management activities. Finally, its distinct modernity: the combination of the nature of administrative management with the theme of the times, and the compliance of the modernized administrative management method with the spirit of the times.
