A Research about the Cooperation Governance for Social Stability in Transitional China: An Empirical Analysis

During the period of social transformation in China, social stability is facing serious challenge. This article takes the Security Association as an example, discussing how the government, market and society to participate in the construction of the Security Association and social stability governance with the different mechanisms. With this platform of the Security Association, social organizations and enterprises, citizens can participate in the rural public security management tp maintain social stability. It forms a diversified cooperation governance pattern and promotes the innovation of social management systein with breaking the traditional government management. Cooperative governance pattern does not deny the core position of the government in the supply of public goods such as social stability.
