Micro blog: New Means for the Work of Government Public Relations

摘要：

Micro blog is the important approach for the government to set up public relationship, and necessary platform to set up a transparent, democratic, responsible, efficient, and interactive government. It expands the channels to collect and release information, helps to strengthen interactions between officials and ordinary people, even contributes to handle emergencies. However, it brings not only opportunities to public relationship of the governments but also a series of inevitable challenges like information management, public and transparent administration, servant quality. So, how to draw on advantages and avoid disadvantages, how to effectively apply micro blog and better bring its role in serving the work of government public relations into play is a realistic problem encountered by governmental departments at present.
