A New Method of Public Organizational Structure and Behavior Research: SNA and Application
Under the informational and economic globalization context, with the deepening research of network governance, public organizational management is gradually transferring from simplex bureaucracy into complex network governance mode. As an emerging quantitative method, social network analysis (SNA) offers a more effective and scientific way to collect and analysis the data of social networks formed in and between bonded organizations in specific condition, and it can also deal with various synergy relationships in the network, so as to find out the rules hide in database, and to deepen the understanding of information. Though studying the main idea, data representation and research methods of SNA, this article will describe its value and applications in organization structure and behaviors in deep.
