The Effects of New Public Management Theory on Administrative Practice in China

摘要：

Since in the 1970s, Europe and the United States have set off a series of government reforms, which reflect the fundamental change from traditional public administration to the modern public administration, and its basic characteristics and the main content are the retreat of government function and the return of the market value. Under the impact of public management, the western countries take different degrees of reform and adjustment to government administrative system, which had made some progress and breakthroughs in this regard. Therefore, combined with Chinas national conditions and absorbed the essence of new public management theory has a positive impact on promoting the reform of Chinas administrative practices.
