The world is in a continuous process of development and transition and the BRIC countries due to their large market potential and strong economic performance have emerged as super states and are also going through startling changes on par with the rest of the world. Re-structuring, re-engineering, modernization and privatization....those are the words that we have heard and read a lot lately. Recently weve seen numerous organizations taking the plunge into the restructuring and re-engineering arenas, streamlining and redesigning their processes in an attempt to make their organizations more competitive, efficient and productive. There has been a marked shift by Indian managers towards a concern for total quality. But behind all this dynamic change are people who have seen governments make drastic transition from public sectors to private sectors in most spheres where public sector was a monopoly. Organizations are now forced to face the emerging Economic and Administrative challenges faced in Public Private Partnerships.
