Model and Empirical Research on User Acceptance of E-government Services

In recent years, the e-government construction in China has already achieved remarkable results; however, the service status of G2C is clearly not ideal. This is due partly to the imperfect provided services, but it is also because of the low users acceptance. Even if the technology platform and the service system are extremely advanced, the success of e-government system is still impossible without the subscriber acceptance or adoption. In this paper, on the basis of Theory of Planned Behavior and Technology Acceptance Model, the theoretical model and assumptions were established to analyze how public to accept e-government services. The author obtained 610 valid questionnaires through the survey. And the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing showed that: the critical factors that affect the public acceptance are perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, faith environmental assessment and interpersonal influence. All these factors would achieve internal adjustment and transmission through attitudes towards behavior and perceived behavioral control, and ultimately decide the behavioral intention. Finally, several suggestions were promoted.
