Risk Management Research on Floodwater Resources Utilization in Mountainous Areas Based on IOT

There are water problems such as flood and drought, both hard to control, exist at the same time in mountain areas of China. Flood water may become important resource if it is stored against the dry season, meanwhile it can also be used to adjust the seasonal discharge of the river water and increase the amount of clean water supply. Internet of Things (IOT) provides technical support to flood resource utilization (FRU). Starting from present situation of flood resources management problems in Linyi, Shandong province, this paper sums up implementation of risk management on floodwater in the mountain areas based on IOT, and then puts forward some suggestions on FRU risk management.
