Challenge and Response: The Government Management of Network Mass Incidents in China
In recent years, with Chinese economic development and social transformation, die relationship of social interests has become more and more complex. At the same time, along with the rapid expansion of Chinas network space, there emerges the mass incidents whose planning, organization and communication are based on the Internet. The mass incidents in Network change from a performance to collective blowout, and turn the network public opinion into reality, especially the pressure and challenge to the political field. The network mass incidents are the new crisis forms which our government faces in the network age. In the current our country network mass incidents are driven by the various expression mechanisms of interest demands which are not perfect, the participation awareness of the Internet users which is growing increasingly, the network supervision and restraint mechanism which is inadequate, and the government disposal methods which are unscientific. The government should convert administrative notion, try our best in all the above ways, guide actively and prevent and control effectively the network mass incidents.
