Thoughts on Education and Training of Demobilized Military Officers
By drawing lessons from theories of competency model and career development, this paper has proposed three countermeasures specifically for problems in education and training systems of demobilized military officers. Corresponding to three stages before, during and after demobilization, the troops, offices of demobilization affairs and receiving units or employers should perfect their education and training systems to improve the comprehensive quality of demobilized military officers. The troops should implement stringent standards in recruitment to ensure the comprehensive quality of active duty servicemen. And the demobilized officers should also have reasonable career plans for themselves while enhancing their self-development.
