The Study on Problems and Countermeasures of Urban Public Transport in China
As the urban economy and construction rapidly grow, urban traffic problems become increasingly serious. During the progression of urbanization, modernization and development of automobile industry, frequent use of car caused great traffic expansion due to the cars specific advantage. Solving the urban traffic problem is a strategic problem related with urban economy, society and environment, which plays an important role in urban development. Through the analysis on the status quo of urban public transportation at home and abroad, this paper proposes the appropriate countermeasures for solving the problem of urban public transport in China.
