Current Development of IS Continuance Use: A Meta-analytic Review
Over the last decades, there has been increasing amount of research output on the topic of IS continuance use. The main purpose of this paper is to provide a meta-analytic review of the literatures on the IS continuance use. We analyzed the related literatures in the leading journals and international conferences in the field of information system and management. Our analytical results took in such four main aspects as main theoretical foundations, research methods, research models and research objects. The results of meta-analysis identified fourteen related theories researchers had used to discuss the related phenomenon and two kinds of methods adopted to explore it. We also identified four types of research models and objects. We suggest the directions of strengthening the diffusion of egovernment and also draw out some deeper issues.
