The Analysis of Correlation between the Popularization of Science and Social Events in Contemporary China

摘要：

The paper, by using questionnaire survey, principal component analysis and data envelopment analysis, does the correlation analysis between the popularization of scientific information and the Social events of contemporary Chinese society. The result of the analysis shows that Social events in contemporary Chinese society provide fresh material for science popularization, thus turn out to be important sources of information for science popularization; meanwhile, the popularization of scientific information can regulate the development of the social events, specifically speaking, facilitate the positive effect of them to spread orderly and suppress effectively the spread of the negative social effects.
