Research on the Capacity Building of Local Government Dealing with Network Public Opinion in China

摘要：

It is obvious that the disposal of the network public opinion event will significantly affect the governments legitimacy, credibility as well as the image of the government, and then it is able to form a greater negative impact on the social. Therefore, how to improve the ability of the local government to cope with the network public opinion has an important practical significance. This paper, taking the ability of local governments to deal with the network public opinion as the object of study, analyzes the challenges caused by the network public opinion to the local government and demonstrates the required ability that the government should have to deal with the network public opinion. By further analyzing the current existing issues, it put forwards some countermeasures in the aspect of strengthening the public opinion guidance ability, improving the awareness of ethics, and enhancing the crisis response ability of the local government and so on.
