Low-carbon and Efficient Development of Three Gorges Reservoir Region Forest Tourism in China

摘要：

Forest tourism is a characteristics tourism which can provide special tourism products and services such as sightseeing, leisure vacation, hunting, and exploration to tourists in forest regions. Forest tourism is a new form of tourism with rapidly growing speed; it is one of the most promising green industries. The construction of the three gorges project brings a rare opportunity to the development of forest tourism in three gorges reservoir region. We should actively tap the self-potentials, improve economic development in the reservoir region, increasing farmers income and create a harmonious society according to the advantages of forest resources in the reservoir region. The present situation of forest tourism in three gorges reservoir region should be changed; we must pay attention to conception updating, re-planning, brands building, promotion strengthen and system reforming. It can be said that the development of forest tourism in the three gorges reservoir region, should be low-carbon and efficient.
