Chinese Universities Students Autonomy and Student Management: Predicament and the Way Out

摘要：

Management of Chinese university students is an important aspect of education. However, management methods on university students basically follow the mode in middle school, which is the direct management by teachers. The author thinks that the purpose of higher education is to help students set up independent spirit, self education, self management, self service consciousness and ability. Therefore, in modern management of the university students, new ideas for university students should be explored according to the universitys own particularity, whose key subject is the campus students.
