Thermal curing and degradation mechanism of polyhedral oligomeric octa(propargylaminophenyl) silsesquioxane
Polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) is a kind of new hybrid material. A novel polyhedral oligomeric octa(propargylaminophenyl)silsesquioxane (OPAPS) was prepared from octa(aminophenyl) silsesquioxane (OAPS) and propargyl bromide. Chemical structure of OPAPS is shown in Scheme 1.OPAPS powder is pressed to a sheet, and then cured under certain temperature through the cross-linking reactions between alkynyl groups. The thermally cured products under different temperatures are characterized by FTIR, XRD, SEM, TGA and TGA-MS.
