Synergistic effects of aluminum hypophosphite on intumescent flame retardant polypropylene system
In order to improve the flame retardancy of IFR system, various compounds such as zeolites, montmorillonite organoboron siloxane, and some transitional metal oxides and metal compounds41, have been used as synergists in IFR system. In this study, we aimed to investigate the synergistic effect of aluminum hypophosphite in PP-IFR composites, it is used in a novel effective IFR system consisting of ammonium polyphosphate(APP) and charring-foaming agent(CFA, a triazine compound) which was reported in our previous work.
