New highly efficient flame retardants and synergists
Polyolefins Polyolefins are often used in production of films or sheets for construction applications. Transparent or translucent films or sheets are advantageous since they can be nailed, screwed or welded precisely at the position, especially on uneven surfaces. Recently ICL-IP performed a study on a new phosphorus-based material, Fyrol? P26. Main physical properties of Fyrol? P26 are shown in Table 1. Fyrol? P26 is a very efficient FR because it is high in phosphorus content. It has also small particle size and narrow distribution range of the particles, which allows uniform and easy dispersion. Finally, Fyrol? P26 has good thermal stability giving a wide processing window for polyolefins.
