Study on catalytic synthesis efficiently of a key monomer of chlorinated cyclotriphosphazene flame retardants
Hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene is a key monomer to synthesis cyclophosphazene and linear polyphosphazenes flame retardants. In this paper.phosphorus pentachloride and ammonium chloride react in chlorobenzene, the duplex catalyst is magnesium chloride anhydrous and pyridine which also was the acid acceptor. By a series of reaction conditions to systhesis hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene, the influence of the catalyst, the reaction time and the reactants proportion on the yield of hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene was investigated. The synthesis conditions and purification methods of hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene was optimized.
