Development of Immunoassy Methods for Clothianidin in Agricultural Samples
Clothianidin, a new class of neonicotinoid insecticides, has been widely used for the control of a vast variety of noxious insects. Currently, several instrument-based detection methods for clothianidin have been described. The demand for more rapid and cost-effective immunoassy methods for clothianidin is desirable. In the present study, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and chemiluminescent enzyme immunoassy (CLEIA) based on polyclonal antibodies (PcAbs) for clothianidin were first reported.
