Development of a Multi-residue Method for Analyzing 65 Herbicides in Pork Based on Gel Permeation Chromatography and Gas Chromatography-mass Spectrometry
Herbicides are chemicals with the capacity to kill plants selectively or non-selectively, representing more than half of all the pesticides employed. Compared with insecticides and bactericides, the toxicity of herbicides is much lower. However, the intensive application of herbicides and their potential accumulation ability has resulted in the residues of these compounds in animal food, which may pose an indirect risk to human health.
