Residue Analysis and Stereoslective Degreation of Three Triazole Chiral Fungicides in Plant and Soil
Triazole fungicides are widely used in agriculture for the control of many fungal diseases on a variety of crops such as fruits and vegetables. Considerable applications of triazole fungicides also cause the food and environmental pollution threat. Nearly all of the triazole fungicides are chiral, and chiral pesticides enantiomers often show different bioactivity toxicity, and environmental biodegradation rates. However, this property is usually ignored when evaluating the environmental risk and public health. There are very little data on the enantioselective degradation of triazole fungicides in plants despite the fact that such data are critical in assessing their environmental fate and potential food safety.
