PCPF-1 Model Uncertainty and Sensitivity Analysis and Their Influences on the Coupled PCPF-1 @ SWAT Model
A probabilistic assessment of a pesticide fate and transport model was demonstrated on the PCPF-1, for elucidating the modeling uncertainty using Monte Carlo technique. The sensitivity analysis was also performed to investigate the influence of herbicide characteristics and related soil properties using the base case of four popular rice herbicides: mefenacet, pretilachlor, bensulfuron-methyl and imazosulfuron. The sensitivity analysis results can be used to improve the prediction of pesticide concentration by the PCPF-1 @ SWAT model which consists of the PCPF-1 model combined with the SWAT model.
