Dissipation and Residues of Rimsulfuron Study in Potato under Field Conditions

Rimsulfuron is a new kind of rimsulfuron herbicides which is popular in the world to be used to control weeds in maize, tomato and potato crops. In China it is widely used in potato crops. But there was neither detailed simple residues analysis method nor residual dynamics report on potato crops. In this study an analytical method of the residues of rimsulfuron in potato crops and soil was established using high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry ( HPLC-MS/MS), and the dissipation dynamic and residues of rimsulfuron in potato crops and soil were investigated. The method was based on the Quick Easy Cheap Effective Rugged and Safe (QuEChERS) sample preparation method.
