Impact of Pesticides Uses on Surface and Ground Water Bodies of Rice and Vegetables Growing Areas in Delhi NCR

摘要：

Various chemicals are applied for the pest control as their uses are inevitable in Indian subtropical climate and severe pest menace. In India most of the farmers are illiterate and economically backward. As a result, many farmers usually apply cheap, non registered pesticides and also outdated pesticides. If the farmers use the registered pesticides, they use indiscriminately due to ignorance. As they are unaware of the dose and concentration of the pesticides to be applied in their crops, they seek advice from the dealers.
