World Wide Trends of Chemicals Application Technology—Nozzle Technology
Our world of agriculture and in particular application technology is influenced by many changing factors-climate, structural change and world economy, as well as, food, feed and fuel discussions, to name a few. The presentation is restricted to nozzle technique and comments on actual developments in arable crops. First of all, the nozzle quality with regard to flow rate tolerance and cross distribution along the boom is a prerequisite for uniform distribution of PPP, use of minimum possible amount, contribution to resistance management, good biological efficacy and food safety. Not only for new equipments but also for sprayers in use a periodic testing of the sprayer and in particular nozzle is mandatory in many countries and even required from private sector as voluntary standards e. g.
