The Synthesis and Insecticidal Activity of 6- ( Substituted-phenyl) -quinazolinone Derivatives
Quinazolinone derivatives were described by Nihon Nohyaku. It has been reported that these compounds showed good insecticidal activities for Hemipterous insect pests and lack cross-resistance on insect pests that have developed resistance to one ore more classes of insecticides, including imidacloprid and other neonicotinoids. The substituent at the 6position in the quinazolinone ring plays an important role for the insecticidal activity. Herein, a series of novel-6-( substituted-phenyl )-quinazolinone derivatives 6a-6j were designed and synthesized via suzuki couping reaction. Their structures were identified by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and elemental analyses. The relationship between structure and insecticidal activity was also discussed.
