Design, Synthesis and Fungicidal Activity of Pyrazolecarboxamide Compounds
Tolfenpyrad, a commercialized Pyrazolecarboxamide Derivatives, shows good insecticidal/acaricidal activity against Lepidoptera, Hemiptera, Thysanoptera and eriophyid mites in vegetables, ornamentals and fruit, also active against the fungus Sphaerotheca fuliginea. By using the intermediate derivatization method, an important intermediate (4-(pyridin-2yloxy) phenyl) alkylamines were synthesized starting from (un) substituted 2-halopyridine and phenols containing cyano such as 4-hydroxybenzonitrile, 2-( 4-hydroxyphenyl) acetonitrile and 3-( 4-hydroxyphenyl ) propanenitrile, to replace the corresponding part of Tolfenpyrad. A series of Pyrazolecarboxamide Derivatives were synthesized and bioassayed. The structure-activity relationships of the synthesized compounds were also discussed.
