Study Towards Substituted Thiosemicarbazones on Bioactivity of Insect Tyrosinase
Tyrosinase plays an important role in insects biological functions, such as melanogenesis, wound healing, parasite encapsulation and sclerotization. Compounds which disrupt the activation of tyrosinase would affect the normal growth and development of insects. Thus, tyrosinase might be a potent target for pest control agents. In our previous work substituted benzylidene hydrazinecarbothioamide (hydrazinecarboxamide, nitrohydrazinecarboximidamide) were designed and synthesized.
