Cloning and Characterization of NADPH-cytochrome P450 Reductase in the Cotton Bollworm,Helicoverpa armigera
Previous studies have showed that cytochrome P450 CYP6B7 plays an important role in the pyrethroidresistance of Helicoverpa armigera. As known to all,CPR plays an essential role in the transfer of reducing electron from NADPH to cytochrome P450 enzyme systems (P450s). Some studies have suggested that CPR may be involved in the resistance of insect to insecticide. However, little information about CPR in H. armigera has been reported. In this study, the CPR gene of H. armigera was cloned and characterized through analysis on bioinformatics, spatial and developmental expression and phenobarbital (PB) induction.
