Experimental Investigation of Axial Velocity Density Ratio in Large Camber Compressor Cascade
In this thesis, experiments were carried out on the large camber cascade end wall boundary layer suction in order that the performance was contrasted the end wall boundary suction to without suction. It can change the axial velocity density ratio(AVDR) through the suction of end wall boundary. And in this paper, the results were contrast the end wall boundary suction to without suction, the research has been done suggest that the performance is reduced when it is carried out the suction of end wall boundary in the low Mach number at inlet. And the performance of cascade decreases with the decrease of AVDR. But the performance is improved in the high Mach number of inlet. Especially, the performance is enhanced greatly in the big attack angle when the flow of suction is low, and the total pressure recovery coefficient is increased, and the loss coefficient is decreased. With AVDR decreasing, the performance of cascade increases and then decreases. However, the main flow zone is destroyed when the massflow of suction is high.
