Instability Caused by Cylindrical Surface Fit in Rotor System
Based on the characteristics of instability caused by cylindrical surface fit in rotor system, Riccati transfer matrix method is used to get the threshold speed of double-rotor test rig. The relationship between stability of the rotor system and parameters of cylindrical surface is analyzed. Experiment proves the influence of locknut preload on threshold speed. The results show that increase preload can effectively improve threshold speed.
