Experimental Investigation on Reducing Rotor Vibration by Elastic Support/Dry Friction Damper in Maneuver Flight
The experiment of reducing the rotor system vibration by elastic support/dry friction damper under simulated conditions of maneuver flight is carried out. The Experimental results show that the supporting stiffness of the rotor system is changed by the additional centrifugal force and the gyroscopic moment under the conditions of maneuver flight, that causes changes in the rotor vibration characteristics. Then the effectiveness of the elastic support/dry friction damper is weakened.
