A Study on Installed Performance of Aero Engine

Inlet and nozzle databases are established and their characteristic maps are collected and stored in the database. The data-based method for getting the performance of inlet and nozzle is studied. And the sub-systems for derivative inlet and nozzle characteristics are designed, which are able to provide modified performance maps to reflect the changes of the required engine performance. The inlet and nozzle performance is calculated using data-based method. The engine installed performance is estimated utilizes inlet and nozzle performance maps of specific configurations, which considering the inlet internal performance and drag, nozzle internal performance and drag. The developed system can proffer reference for inlet and nozzle design and analysis of engine installation performance.
