Numerical Simulation of Aircraft Power System Transient Performance
In this paper, a transient performance simulation model of aircraft power system which consists of control system, a fuel pump and a dual axis mixed exhaust turbofan engine has been studied. By simplifying control system and pump as first-order inertia links, and using engine transient process simulation method (the volume effects are ignored), a transient performance simulation program of aircraft power system has been written using C++ language. Also, the response process from the power lever to the engine has been simulated. The results show that this method can truly reflect the transient performance of aircraft power system. Comparing with the response of the power system, the effect of control system is very little and can be ignored.
