A New Method of Building Civil Turbofan Engine Model Used for Control and Fault Diagnosis
In order to obtain the civil turbofan enginecomponent-level model in MATLAB for control and fault diagnosis, this article put forward a new engine modeling method based on GasTurb. A new civil turbofan engine model is developed through calling the model built by the modified GasTurb source code using the dynamic link library method. The simulation results verified the validity and highly customizability of the modeling method. The new method of building the engine model in this article is not limited to turbofan engine but also the other engine models like turbojet, turboshaft, turboprop engine types contained by GasTurb.
