A Matlab/TrueTime Toolbox Based Simulator for Communication Network Research of Distributed Engine Control Syste
The transition from a point-to-point analog control architecture to a modular, networked, distributed system will improve aircraft engine performance and reduce life cycle cost. However, network communication faults such as time delays and packet dropouts may limit system performance. This paper made comparison of time delays in both centralized and distributed architecture. A distributed engine control system simulator was constructed based on Matlab/TrueTime toolbox. The influence of network communication faults on dynamic control performance was simulated using an engine model.
