High Bypass Turbof an Engine Exhaust Emission Prediction
To investigate the engine emission, Boeing method is applied to conduct the prediction of the engine emission. The results show that the relationships between the mach number and the Hydrocarbons, Oxides of Nitrogen, Carbon Monoxides are different when the turbof an engine is working at the different altitudes. Furthermore, the content of Oxides of Nitrogen is the most of the three emission products, and the more the relative humidity, the less the Oxides of Nitrogen content, controlling the combustor exit temperature will reduce the Oxides of Nitrogen content.
