Research on Change Law of Launching Pitching Angular Velocity by Means of MFBD Technology

In order to provide accurate initial pitching angular velocity for robust design of exterior trajectory, Multi Flexible Body Dynamics (MFBD) technology is presented to study the change law of launching pitching angular velocity of rotating missile.A multi flexible dynamics virtual prototype model of the rotating missile launching system is built using modal synthesis method and nodal method in the multi-body dynamics modeling and simulation software—RecurDyn and verified with frequency spectrum analysis.Based on this built model and with RecurDyn’s unique flexible body contact theory and nonlinear theory, research is made on a series of influence factors on launching pitching angular velocity such as launching angle change, clearance between launching canister and missile, thrust change, thrust eccentricity and mass eccentricity etc.Through this research, some useful values of key design parameters which are difficult to be measured in physical tests are obtained.Finally, a simplified mathematical model of change law of launching pitching angular velocity is presented through fitting virtual test results using linear regression method and verified by physical flight tests.The research results have important significance for the optimization design of exterior trajectory.
