Multibody Approach of Gear Transmission Error Dynamics
This research is focused on how to decide the stiffness so that the simplified rigid model produces the same results as these from the flexible body model.This research has developed two multibody gear models.One is the rigid body model and the other is the flexible body gear model.Gear transmission error has known to be a major source of gear noise and vibration.So, Compliance or stiffness compare Tavakoli equation and FEA what appropriate using FEA model.Three dynamic multibody models have been built to estimate the dynamic transmission error.FEA model represent similarly transmission error with commercial program.The proposed dynamic gear model also obtain similar transmission error.
