Dynamic Behavior Analysis of Wave Energy Generation System Under Irregular Wave Load
In this paper, the movable body wave energy generation system using kinetic energy of the wave is analyzed by using multi-body dynamics techniques.The movable body obtains the energy from the relative motion of adjacent floating body.The floating body used in this study has 12 arms for generating the electronic power energy.Several kinematic constraints and force elements are employed by using MSC/ADAMS program.The time history of irregular waves is calculated from JONSWAP spectrum.The three dimensional wave loads which have the hydrostatic pressure and hydrodynamic pressure are applied to the main body and 12 arms for the dynamic analysis.Severe condition is considered for the stability analysis of wave generation system.Through the dynamic behavior analysis, the cable system to protect the arm is designed.
